Communities are brought together and defined in many ways by the built environment and the quality of the architecture in the community. JHBR is committed to working within the context of each unique community to design places of lasting benefit and pride. Each project is set within a larger context of political, social, economic and environmental issues that can help inform the design and lead to enhance value to the community and its people.
Religious facilities have been a large part of our portfolio for many years. From 1956 to 1965 Gene Jones designed over 30 Methodist churches in Oklahoma. Since that time JHBR has expanded our religious client base to include Baptist, Lutheran, Church of Christ, Non-Denominational and other faiths.
Creating worshipful, efficient, attractive and functional spaces and balancing that with the fiscal stewardship that is required makes these projects very exciting and meaningful.
From contemporary to traditional, JHBR will partner with your church to develop a common vision for your church building project.
